The Paris Climate Summit is nearly upon us – the culmination of 6 years of negotiating and campaigning and reckoned by many to be our last and best chance to get a meaningful climate deal that keeps global temperature rises to manageable limits. So what can we do here in the South of England to lend our support?

We want to get contingents together from across the South to take part in the Climate March in London on 29 Nov.

If you’d like to join the Steyning contingent, click here to find out more. They plan to arrive at Victoria for 11.15am on Sunday 29th Nov.

If you’d like to join the Lewes contingent, they will be getting on trains from Lewes at 10.20am and arriving at Victoria 11.35am.

There is a Transition Block and a Stand up for Community Energy Block and you can find out more by clicking here.

Ahead of the march, Steyning 10:10 are organising a special Green Drinks evening just before it starts so you can learn all about it. Richard Burge, Chief Exec of Wilton Park, will be among a number of speakers who will be filling us in on how the negotiation process works, what’s at stake, and what the prospects are for a good outcome in Paris.

It’s on Wednesday 25th November from 8.00pm at Steyning Cricket Club.
